These are some of my favorite Audibles that have helped me so far on this level up transformation journey I’ve decided to embark on.

My challenges have been with getting out of my own way and realizing my own power.

If you are also on a level up transformation journey or considering seriously getting started, you might find these Audibles helpful as well.

Listen to them when you’re working out, in the car, cooking, or whatever. Audibles are super good for learning on the go.

And when you sign up for a new account, you get a free trial and a free Audible for your listening and learning pleasure.

Check out the list below.

Also, you can get two of these titles for free on Audible when you sign up for a free trial. And you might be able to read all of these titles for free or at a discount if you sign up for a free trial of Kindle Unlimited.

I really like how Kindle Unlimited allows you to borrow up to 10 books for free with your monthly membership. Millions of titles are available for free. And if not free, for a good discount.

Never Binge Again: Reprogram Yourself to Think Like a Permanently Thin Person

This was a goooood one. Not only did I dig the alternative approach to solving binge eating, but I found it very entertaining. I cracked up on more than a few occasions.

Glenn Livingston Ph.D., once a binge eater and overweight himself, instead of telling you to love yourself to binge eating freedom, speaks on separating yourself from your inner pig and realizing that there is no “love” for the pig.

He gives a plan for recognizing the pig’s voice (that voice that tells you to eat off of your plan and binge), how to create a food plan that works for you,  how to stick to it, and what to do in case your pig gets out the “cage.” Oh, and I love how he tells you to not let your pig sabotage your plans.

I think this Audible is definitely worth a listen if you’re looking for a simple, straightforward way to beat your binge eating habits, overcome food addiction, and live in a healthy body. Definitely for you if you’re sick and tired of being sick and tired of your yo-yo dieting and weight loss struggle.

The Willpower Instinct: How Self-Control Works, Why It Matters, and What You Can Do To Get More of It

Good book, heavy listen, probably want it printed if you’re looking to keep track and implement the exercises that work best for you. I still got a lot of value out of this book, but might still get the printed copy.

What Kelly McGonigal PhD does is share the scientific research on willpower and what practical exercises one can take to improve their willpower. There are several suggested exercises in this book you can choose from to work on improving your willpower to achieve any goal.

Work with one of them or a few of them. What I did was try one on for size and then tried others for different goals I have. Each exercise is pretty helpful, but I think it’s safe to say you won’t need all of them to achieve your goals. Just the ones that work FOR YOU.

The biggest takeaway for me, besides the super helpful exercises, was that willpower was not unlimited and that it’s ok to take on willpower challenges you can handle. There is value on taking it easy on the willpower. Otherwise, you risk failing at strengthening it.

A good listen if you’re looking for different exercises to try to improve your willpower.

Chasing Cupcakes: How One Broke, Fat Girl Transformed Her Life (and How You Can, Too)

I’m not done with Elizabeth Benton’s book yet, but so far I’ve gotten some good tips from it so had to include it in this list.

I love how Chasing Cupcakes tells you to value the decisions and changes you can make NOW instead of putting those life-changing decisions off for a later date. Elizabeth reminds us that our power is in the NOW, not tomorrow, next week, next month.

And I LOVE that because that was one of my major challenges with eating healthy and seriously working on my blog to quit my job. I kept putting off eating the right thing or doing the work until tomorrow when I felt I would feel like it.

Her book did help me start making good decisions about my food choices now.

I did that “tomorrow” thing often when it came to my healthy eating. If you’re tired of doing the same, check this book out. Elizabeth keeps it pretty real about figuring out what’s going on and what to do about it.

You Were Born Rich

An oldie, but goodie, You Were Born Rich by Bob Proctor is an Audible I’ve played several times and still go back to when I need a dose of motivation and to be reminded of my wealth and power.

It’s not the narration of the book, but a recording of the Born Rich lecture he gave in the 80s. He reads from the You Were Born Rich printed version during the lecture and elaborates on those passages.

There’s also a handy dandy free workbook that goes along with this lecture I’ve found pretty helpful too. My copy of the printed version is worn out too as I have read it several times, bookmarked pages with sticky notes, highlighted quotes, and taken notes. It’s good.

This Audible gives you the basics of how to make things happen in your life by leveraging your right to wealth and well-being and in my opinion, is a good place to start when you’re new to this type of information and need practical ways to apply it to your life.

Get Rich, Lucky Bitch!: Release Your Money Blocks and Live a First-Class Life

Denise is funny, real, and informative as hell when it comes to leveling up. This book was so good I actually purchased her money manifestation course too that expands even more on the lessons taught in this book.

And there are free worksheets and a .pdf that goes with this book!

Denise Duffield-Thomas, who also wrote Lucky Bitch: A Guide for Exceptional Women to Create Outrageous Success, had great luck but realized even though she was winning all these sweepstakes including a trip around the world, she was still broke.

Get Rich, Lucky Bitch! is where she breaks down her very practical steps for manifesting money that has made her millions of dollars and helped her develop a VERY successful business.

This girl gets money! And her money manifestation steps have actually helped me earn more money on this blog and make moves I was once too afraid to make. This stuff actually works.

What I really love too is how Denise reminds us that we all can be rich women no matter where we’re at, our age, our size, what we think rich is and so forth.

She also reveals to us that rich women still have money blocks too and that she, including other rich women, are normal, everyday people too.

You Are a Badass at Making Money

I like Jen Sincero and she is another funny woman giving great tips and chuckles. Keeping it real about how to catch your mindset up to your desire to make money and tap into wealth.

I’ve read her You Are A Badass book too and was a fan then.

This book delivers, but there are reviews of the book by people that to me don’t quite get it. Some even boiling down her money-getting tips to asking other people for money or luckily stumbling upon a valuable piece of jewelry or forgotten savings bond.

From my understanding, the point is that we all have ways we can “find” money when we focus on the money we want instead of shutting down what we want because it’s too expensive.

I’ve shut down things I’ve wanted several times too because I figured they were too expensive. Instead of giving it a chance and leaving myself open to the possibility that I could bring in enough money.

When we focus on the money we want for the things we want, we can be shown many different ways to get it and we open up to that money coming to us. But when we tell ourselves off top that we can’t have something because it’s too expensive, we shut out the money and the ways to get that money.

That was the point and I think this is a great listen. It’s definitely helped me out too. I’ve stopped thinking of things as too expensive and started thinking of how cool it would be to have it. Sold more books that way. 🙂

How to Be a Bad Bitch

Amber Rose interestingly had a really good understanding of being ready to be ready at a pretty young age living in a neighborhood and amongst people that typically didn’t get out. She knew “The Secret” way before the movie was even a thing, ok.

What I admire about this book is what Amber Rose can teach young women about the importance of keeping your eyes on the prize and knowing there is more for you if you want it even though you don’t know exactly how it’s going to happen.

She protected her goals and knowing that there was more for her by doing things like working out regularly, protecting herself from circumstances that could hinder her come up, and remaining faithful to her knowing that something greater was coming. All while still having no clue how she was leaving her neighborhood.

Amber Rose held on to that faith and when the opportunity came, she was ready to take it. That’s dope!

She also gives other great tips for presenting your best self.
